Om (ओम्)
Aum (long, sustained sound)
Om is the primordial sound of the universe, representing the vibration of creation, preservation, and dissolution. It is considered the most sacred syllable in Hinduism and Buddhism.
Om chanting calms the mind, reduces stress, improves focus, balances energy centers, and connects the practitioner to universal consciousness.
Sit comfortably with a straight spine. Inhale deeply and chant Om on a slow exhale, allowing the sound to resonate from your chest. Chant 108 times for maximum benefit.

Om bhoor bhuva swaha, tat savitur varenyam, bhargo devasya dheemahi, dhiyo yo nah prachodayat
We meditate on the glory of the Creator who has created the universe, who is worthy of worship, who is the embodiment of knowledge and light, who is the remover of all sins and ignorance. May He enlighten our intellect.

Om namah shivaya
I bow to Shiva, the inner Self. This mantra represents surrender, transformation, and devotion to the supreme consciousness.
Brings inner peace, aids in letting go of ego, supports transformation, and connects the chanter to the energy of Lord Shiva for spiritual liberation.
Chant with devotion and focus on the third eye. Can be chanted silently or aloud. 108 repetitions recommended.
Anytime, especially on Mondays or during evening meditation.
Mahamrityunjaya Mantra
Om tryambakam yajamahe sugandhim pushtivardhanam, urvarukamiva bandhanan mrityor mukshiya maamritat
We worship the three-eyed one (Lord Shiva) who is fragrant and nourishes all beings. May He liberate us from death for the sake of immortality, just as the ripe cucumber is severed from its bondage to the creeper.
Promotes healing, protection from illness and accidents, removes fear of death, supports physical and emotional recovery, and brings peace in difficult times.
Chant during times of illness, fear, or stress. 108 repetitions daily recommended. Can be chanted for others who are unwell.
Early morning or evening. Can be chanted anytime in emergency situations.
Hare Krishna Mahamantra

A devotional mantra invoking the names of Lord Krishna and Lord Rama, expressing love, surrender, and devotion to the divine.
